This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. First of all, the value for money was unbeatable. I couldn't believe how affordable the room rates were, especially considering the beautiful grounds and swimming pool. And speaking of the grounds, the hotel is tucked away in a peaceful garden setting, making it a perfect oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Plus, the hotel's location just a short walk from the train station was so convenient for those arriving by rail.
Everything was more than okay at this hotel.

Very clean,beautiful grounds-very well kept.clean swimming pool.
My only complaint is that the resort is a long way out of Ning Khai town- you need a taxi to go anywhere. No problem if you hire a car.

The grounds & swimming pool are excellent. Very quiet & peaceful. Very close to the new train station but you need transport to get into town & ri8verside for western restaurants otherwise a couple of local thai restaurants nearby. The rooms are very clean & comfortable.breakfast is soup, rice , toast & Jam.Good value for money if you have transport. Plenty of parking.
No tea & coffe making facilities in room but free with breakfast & only 20 baht to buy from dining area where there is an urn.

The swimmingpool was the only thing that was good.
Staff dont speak english. As usual owners spend more time and money on garden then rooms - they need to be restored!! Breakfast not worth mentioning-unless you are a fan of the old "continental" breakfast they had in europe 20 yrs ago... toast and jam..... I f you can live without pool try Nong Khai Hotel & Resort. Nearly the same name but total different.

Gorgeous Grounds and Great Location the resort's beautiful grounds were a highlight and made for a serene and relaxing stay. the pool was also a great addition to the lovely setting. the resort's location right across from the train station was very convenient and made it easy to explore the surrounding area. the Wi-Fi worked well.
Limited Food Options and Language Barrier One downside of the resort was the limited dining options, with only breakfast served. Another issue was the language barrier with some staff members struggling to communicate in English.

Nice little resort, quiet, close to train station and easy parking. Nice little swimming pool. We really enjoyed our stay.
The breakfast is poor and the staff not very friendly, at least for Thailand. Good to have a car as it is far from city center.

Nice little pool. Good for a short stay with kids. Close to Shopping malls and railway station. Excellent value for money compared to the more expensive hotels in Nong Khai..
Staff/manage could have been a bit friendlier. Not many of the legendary Thai smiles and hospitality. They were polite but a bit curt.

We stayed in an airy and clean room that had a large fridge and a comfortable bed. the resort grounds were well-maintained with plenty of gorgeous plants and flowers. We enjoyed being directly opposite the railway station, which made it very convenient for us to catch our train. the staff was efficient, and we were given breakfast vouchers at check-in.
There were limited eating outlets near the resort, and we had to travel to the town center to find more dining options.

The resort is only 100 metres from the main railway station and is set in well tended gardens The rooms are clean and fresh and the swimming pool though small was also clean, the bar/dining area was open and airy with a high vaulted ceiling. The breakfast was typical thai and nothing to write home about but no complaints as the room at 800 baht was exceptional value for money. Also the relaxing quiet atmosphere at all times made this resort a pleasant place to stay

Being close to the train station and having easy access to transportation made exploring this city a breeze. The hotel facilities were well kept, particularly the pool and the surrounding greenery. Cleanliness was top-notch, with the rooms being fresh and airy. Breakfast offered a decent selection and the staff were accommodating.
No issues.

Pleasant resort with nice swimming pool near the cottages. Friendly staff who allowed us to leave our car in their car park for 3 days whilst we travelled to Vientiane. There is a car park at the border charging 100 baht per day as an alternative. Breakfast was ok for the price consisting of rice porridge and toast and jam, with coffee or tea. This is adequate and a normal Thai/western type of breakfast so those expecting more of a foreign breakfast for the price should try elsewhere and pay more. The cottage interiors are basic but adequate for the price.
A couple of the staff spent a lot of time in the early evening talking rather loudly and constantly in and next to the pool for over a couple of hours which was irritating as our cottage was nearby. A bit far from the centre and border but only 80 baht for 2 in a tuk tuk.

Small and unpretentious resort with good accommodation and a reasonable pool. very good value. Handy for the station if taking an early morning train.
Rather limited breakfast buffet.
